Sunday Bests

Nick got these cute pics with his camera phone. Sydney posed that way on her own and Trey was so excited to wear a tie AND belt to church today. He was so funny about it!

Garage Sale

We had a garage sale with some friends of ours last weekend at their home. All of the adults were outside helping with the sale and all of our kids were inside playing. I went in the house to check on them and they had brought out tons of toys from the bedrooms and spread them ALL OVER my friend's family room. In frustration, I said, "What is going on here?" and they replied, "we are playing garage sale!"

Trick-Or-Treaters

The kids were pretty pumped to go trick-or-treating in our new neighborhood. They got a big stash of candy now. They love to wake up before Nick and I and eat it for breakfast. Nick keeps threatening to take it all to work, so they better eat it fast! Trey is sad in the group picture of the kids because we had to wake him up from a nap to go. He perked up pretty quickly after the candy starting pouring in!

Pumpkin Carving

We carved our pumpkins the other night. The kids had been asking to carve them every single day in October! Blake wanted multiple eyes, so here they are.

Pumpkin Patch

Sydney's preschool took a trip to the flower mound pumpkin patch. We came along and had a good time. The kids loved the hay ride and all the pumpkins. Blake was so mad that he missed out because he had school. I promised him that he can go next year.

U2

I got Nick tickets to the U2 concert for his birthday. The concert was at the new Cowboy's stadium. It was a really great date!

Bumble Bee!

Syd is on the the Bumble Bee soccer team this year. This is her first season and she is on her cousin, Renee's team. It is fun to watch her play!

A Yankee in the South!

Blake is playing on the Yankee team this season for baseball. It is his first season of coach pitch and he is really enjoying it and he is getting better every game. He plays second base and he has gotten a lot of outs this year. He was really excited during one game when he caught a fly ball. I was chanting, "please catch it, please catch it, " as it headed straight towards him. He caught it and then looked surprised to see it in his glove! His coaches said he is the most improved player on his team and that he is very coachable. His goal is to play for the Texas Ranger's some day. He asked us how much he would have to pay to play for them and he was shocked to find out that they pay their players to pay. He can't think of a better career than playing baseball for a living!
