Trip Home Story
After spending three weeks apart from Nick, we were ready to be reunited. We had a crazy time getting home. I missed my flight because of construction and a traffic accident. I was 10 minutes too late to check my bags, so I wasn't allowed on the flight. The airline put me on a flight that left 4 1/2 hours later and then instead of being direct, I had a layover in Charlotte for another two hours. We ended up getting to Texas around midnight, seven hours later than planned. It was a pretty stressful day and I have decided that it is better to be there two hours before your flight leaves than spending an extra seven hours at an airport with three kids by myself!
Blake had a soccer game and he did really good. We missed most of the season traveling, but he was really aggressive and did a great job. He is really excelling at being a defender. His kicks are really strong. It is fun watching him progress.

Glad y'all made it home safe after all that! :) Tell Blake he looks really good on the soccer field! :)
I am so sorry about your crappy travel day. I hate traveling with kids myself and when things like this happen it is just awful. I totally feel for you. I bet you had a good time in PA but are glad to be home.
great pictures and update. I hate flying because of the waiting. At least you are home now and you have some great pictures from the trip.
Hey Alycia! I found your blog via Sue's - I've enjoyed learning more about you and your family. You sure have super cute kiddos!
This blogging thing has been a fun way to make new friends - Hope you'll come visit ours.

Oh you poor thing! I can't imagine how tough that would be. Glad you made it home!! Looks like a fun trip anyway. Blake's a cute little soccer player.
My due date is still the same and my doctor was nice. He gave me a book called what to expect when you are expecting.
Oh man! That sounds like our typical traveling nightmare. Traveling with kids may just be the hardest thing EVER!!!
ps: Especially with 3 kids!
