Blake's first basketball game

Blake is trying out basketball this winter and he really seems to be enjoying it. He was surprisingly aggressive and had more fouls than any other player. he was really good at defense and never let his man be unguarded. he had several shots and so many were sooooo close to going in. He is by far the shortest player on the team. It is great to see him out there having so much fun though.

After Christmas, we headed home for Texas and stopped and left the kids in TN with Nick's parents. They brought them back several days later and it was such a nice break. They had so much fun.

The day after my kids came back, I got three more for nine days while my sister, Tiffany, is in Italy. It has been pretty rough and I am counting down the minute's until she comes home tomorrow night. We have had our fridge and freezer turned to the warmest settings, red nail polish on my carpet, and a lost ipod shuffle. The kids have been pretty good though. it is just the combination of kids that makes it difficult.

I have posted so much though, that you will have to click on the next page to see all my posts. I need to get better at keeping up!

Christmas Morning

Just some of the stockings..it was quite the crew this year!Sydney modeling her new robeTrey being a helperNick got his heart's desire, five finger toed shoes...I will post pictures of him running in them so time.
Trey's only request this Christmas was motorcycles

Our little cowboy fan...he is saving his money for tickets...it may take a while to save up that much!
Pokemon cards...he must have been good because he only asked for 100 and he got 180.

The box makes it look so easy...

Watch out Jenne', here comes Sydney

Sydney just loved Jenne's, boyfriend, Jace. Jenne' told me one funny thing that Sydney said to him that was too good not to share. She said, "If you marry my Aunt Jenne', then you will be my uncle. Then when you have kids, they will be my cousins. I promise that I will be nice to them, but my cousin Carter won't be, he bites!"

Aunt Kendra goes to the Christmas Ball

My Grandma Gampe and I. Sydney and Kendra. Sydney didn't mind holding her flowers. My dad's youngest brother, Uncle Steve and Trey

Four sisters, Tiffany was at home getting ready to be in Italy

We were able to be their to see my sister off on her last Christmas ball. She looked great in her sequined dress. Sydney was in awe. Kendra's poor date had to meet a million people before leaving with her. We probably scared him to death!

GG's treat bag

My mom had a treat bag that she kept letting the kids pick treats from. One of their favorites were these Rudolf the rednose reindeer lollipops. Austin liked his the best and wondered why no has given him a yummy pacifier like this before. He looked so cute too.

There is no place like home for the hollidays

Sydney's only request was that she wanted to make a snow angel

We made the trek to PA to spend Christmas with my family. We drove to Mississippi one day, then to Knoxville, TN the next. We spent an extra night in TN because of the blizzard in the northeast and then spent another full day driving to PA. We were so happy to finally get there and we had a really good time. the kids were so excited about having snow to play in! They spent half the trip outside sledding. Here are some pictures of our fun in the snow. thank you Brielle for taking a lot better ones than I did!

Finishing Touches

Sydney was really excited to help me paint and put glitter on these letters for her room. It is fun to have a daughter that loves girly things as much as I do!

Preschool Nativity Play

Sydney was the angel in her preschool nativity play. She loved getting all dressed up and she especially loved wearing sparkly lotion so she could shimmer like angels do. The top picture is her and her cousin, Renee', who was Mary.

Daddy Campout

This picture is kinda old, but I wanted to share it because I liked it so much. Ever since we got our trampoline, the kids have wanted to sleep outside on it. Nick was a really good sport and slept out there with them even though it meant going to bed at 9. Unfortunately, we had let some friends borrow our other sleeping bags, so I had to sleep inside in my bed. Can you tell how sad I am :-) Thanks for being a great dad, Nick!
