I have been tagged and asked to write 7 things that you may not know about me. I think some people may know some of these things, but I will try to come up with some that you may not all know.
1. I once was vacuuming under my dresser in my bedroom and we had a vacuum that the brushes still spun, even when you were using the attachments. Well, I had really long hair and it got caught and sucked up into the vacuum. It pulled my head right up to the vacuum and my arm wasn't long enough to reach the off switch. I had to yell above the vacuum noise for my mom to come and rescue me....she turned it off, but not before she stood in the doorway and laughed at me.
2. In high school, I had a longtime boyfriend, Dustin. Well, I had to go to my uncle's wedding in another town and I guess I caught the eye of the bride's brother. He asked my grandma for my phone number and he called one day and we talked. I was nice to him since we lived a couple of hours apart and I would probably never see him again. Well, Dustin, (my boyfriend) was over at my house playing games with my entire family when their was a knock at the door. It was a flower delivery to me. My mom looked at Dustin and said, Dustin, that was so sweet of you!" He looked appalled and proclaimed that they weren't from him. This other guy sent me a box of the most beautiful long red stem roses and my boyfriend was there when I got them. It was pretty funny.
3. My sophomore year of high school, my sister and I organized a student walk out and about 90% of the student body participated. We were upset about the school board voting to not have a football team. I remember that I was one of the first people to run out on the school lawn and I was just so afraid that their would not be anyone behind me. The walkout was a success and the school board had an emergency meeting and took another vote....we got football!
4. I have two different size feet. I probably have a size and a half difference. I just always buy for the big foot.
5. Once when I was a little girl, my sister and I were staying at my grandmother's house and her car was dirty. She took it to a drive through car wash and I guess she is a afriad of them, so she payed the attendent to drive the car through for her. Well, Tiffany and I wanted to go through since we thought it was fun. In this day in age you would never let some stranger alone with your kids, but it was diffrent then. Anyway, as we were going through, water started gushing in through our window. My sister and I were screaming and the attendent thought we were just scared and it took him a while to realize what was going on. Once he did, he was screaming at us to roll up the window, but we couldn't because it was one of those old metal roll up ones and it was all wet. The poor guy had to reach over us and roll up the window with two screaming girls under him. I don't know what Grandma paid him, but it wasn't enough.
6. I love to read. When I find a book I like, it takes me to another world and I have a really hard time getting anything else done. One of the last book series that I read was called Twilight and I really became addicted. I read the first book and then had the second and third books coming in the mail and I was on a waiting list at the library. Well, I just couldn't wait that long and illegally downloaded it to my computer and read it on my computer.
7. I played with Barbies way longer than was socially acceptable. I got to play longer because I had younger sisters. I probably shouldn't have played as long as I did because I used to make them do naughty things that I learned on my favorite soap opera, Days of Our Lives. I wonder what ever happened to Bo and Hope.

Bunk Beds
Poor Blake has been sleeping in a toddler bed for way too long. We finally decided that he was too big for his little bed and so we got bunk beds. The kids were so excited! We ordered them about a week ago and Blake has been counting down the days until they came. This morning he had the sheets off his toddler bed and was trying to push the frame and mattress out of his bedroom door before I even got out of bed! Blake will be sleeping on top and Sydney has the bottom and then we have an extra trundle bed for Gavin and Renne' to share when they visit. Trey is sharing a room with Blake and Sydney, but I am in no rush to move him out of his crib.

Pudding Lover
Trey just LOVES pudding. He is also going through a really independent phase and insists on feeding himself. As you can see, he does a great job at making a mess! He is doing well. He hasn't had any major fevers and he is only getting a rash every few days. We are hopefully for a complete recovery and we are crossing our fingers that he won't have anymore flares.

Christmas Morning
The kids were up and ready to go at 6:45 am! So much for sleeping in on Christmas morning. Nick's parents were able to come down and so that added to the excitement. Blake had to be held back so he wouldn't open his present without us. Sydney loved all of her Cinderella stuff, especially her new shoes from Aunt Em and Uncle Mike. Trey had a rough morning with a high fever, but it went down and then he had a pretty good day. We were sad that we weren't in California like we had planned, but we are looking forward to being there for Easter.

Visit from Santa
The kids were so surprised when on Christmas Eve, Santa rang our doorbell. He came to visit us and brought each of the kids one of their Christmas presents. Blake and Sydney were so excited! Trey is afraid on strangers now, so we couldn't get a picture of him on Santa's lap. Santa gave Blake this Mexican wrestling mask and it is probably his favorite Christmas present. He says that when he wears it that he can knock ANYONE over! I guess he has watched Nacho Libre one too many times!

Sunday
These were taken the Sunday before Christmas. Sydney slept with sponge curlers in her hair and was so proud of her curls. Blake was posing for this picture. Trey stayed home from church but didn't want to be left out of the photo shoot. Notice that our tree does not have ornaments on the bottom two feet. We had to move them all up because Trey was breaking them all before he got sick. The kids made the paper chain while Trey was in the hospital.
