Candy Store

Hayward, WI, has the best candy store in the country. We always stop and get what ever candy we want. I LOVE the Caramel fudge balls. They also make great fudge. The store is called Tremblay's and it is a family favorite!

Lake Owen 2007

Every year since Nick was in Junior High, his family has vacationed at Lake Owen. It is a beautiful lake in upper state Wisconsin. We got with another family, Ackermans. They have two boys that are Nick and his brother's ages and they have remained close. We spend our time water skiing, tubing, sunbathing, reading, and eating a ton of food. The kids have so much fun and are already asking how many days until we get to go to Lake Owen again. We are already counting down until next year! Blake had a great year skiing. This is his second year and he always gets right up. He would ski all day long if we let him. He is a natural. We are hoping that Sydney will try it next year.

Dane's Wedding

On July 27th, Dane married Laurel in the Idaho Falls Temple. All of my sisters were in attendance. It was a beautiful day and Dane is so in love with Laurel. The day following the wedding, we went to the reception in Salmon, ID. We had a great time. We left our kids in Wisconsin with Nick's parents and had fun spending time with my family. The only negative thing about the trip was that it was too short!

Bayfield, WI

I flew all three kids, by myself, to Nick's parent's vacation home in Northern Wisconsin. It is an annual trip that we all look forward too. On our trip we always go to Bayfield, which is on Lake Superior. We especially enjoy the Swedish store and we always take pictures with the troll. the lake.

San Antonio

Nick and I had a great 7 year anniversary. My sister, Tiffany, watched the kids and we went away for a romantic weekend at the San Antonio River Walk. We had a great time. Nick especially enjoyed the landscaping. It is such an amazing city. It was especially meaningful for Nick to go to the Alamo because one of his ancestors died there. It was so nice to have a weekend just for us. Thank you Tiffany!
